Well, it is off to the ballpark once again. This game will determine who goes to the state tournament. The boys did fantastic, especially our young fellow who smacked a grand slam! Due to a lengthy rain delay, we didn't get back from the ball park until 2 AM. Of course, my son was hungrier than a horse and the only place open was the Taco Bell drive-thru. After a thorough look at the menu, I quickly noticed that absolutely nothing that they had fit into my Alli plan. So the only thing that I could do was inhale deeply, come home .. and go to bed. Pout pout! It was very tempting to order my usual chalupas but I did very well. I will continue this post after we return from the game.
Well here I am ... back home ... and YES! We are victorious. Our boys baseball team will be going to the state tournament in two weeks. My son was the starting pitcher and was awesome for the three innings that he pitched. Then coach brought in our ace pitcher and he finished up the job. It was quite the ball game but we came up on top - 3 to 4. The game was close but considering that this is the team that knocked us out of the state tournament after earning our way to states last year, it felt so good!
I did a decent job meal-wise today. I took some of my Lays Light Chips that are fat free and nibbled on those. I did eat a few sunflower seeds and when the game after ours was rain delayed (Welcome to South Sunny Florida ... NOT!) I decided to make a quick run to Subway instead of anything from our concession stand. By the time we made it back to the park, they were just cancelling the games for the day so now I am at home, resting in my comfy chair. Practice and make up games tomorrow starting at 3 PM.

Good for you. It's tough, but it will be worth it in the long run. I'm thinking of you.
