Weight - 265
Well, I made the 19 hour trip to Ohio and wow, did it seem longer than 19 hours. I used to be able to do the trip in one day but I had to stop. The lines on the road were beginning to look like strings of spaghetti. It was very difficult eating along the way. I brought tons of fat free items to eat in the car, but we had to stop and eat to try to break up the monotony of the trip. I tried to stop at areas where I knew there was a subway but that wasn't always available. On Wednesday night (the 4th of July) we stopped late and the only place we could find open was (of all places) a Waffle House. I ordered the chef salad that left alot to be desired in the salad department. They had no low fat or no fat dressing so I got ranch and dibbled the end of my fork in it a couple of times. Checking out the ingredient panel on the ranch was very eye opening. IT HAD TWO MEALS WORTH OF FAT IN ONE PACKET!!
When I got to my sister's house she had ordered a ton of pizza and an italian salad for me. She used to do weight watchers so she is pretty familiar with watching fat and calorie intake. I took my Alli and ate the whole salad with ff ranch. Well, needless to say, with all the olestra, the dribblings of ranch and the huge salad, I experienced my first bout of TE's. It wasn't horrible but I swear they thought I had some disease because I spent the majority of the night in the bathroom. LOL!
Today we stole a few minutes away from my mother (who is very ill) and managed to do some shopping so that I could get myself back on track. I am still, by no means, regular but it is much better today than it was yesterday.
Although I was down a pound, keep in mind that was over 3 days. I was averaging a pound to a pound and a half a day. I really need to get back on track. I have my second weigh-in tomorrow and pray that I will see at least one more pound by tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for me and I'll post tomorrow to let ya'll know how I did.
